Lagos Life housing and rent guide

Rent is charged every Saturday. Housing is your biggest recurring bill, so the home you choose shapes how fast you can grow.

What the table tells you

  • Every career’s entry week covers both Mushin and Yaba rent.
  • Only a handful of entry weeks cover the Lekki mini-flat, so moving there early is a stretch.
  • No career’s top week reaches Banana Island rent. The mansion only works with business income.

When to move

Move when your weekly income is comfortably more than three times the new rent, and when you are no longer worried about the current week. A premature move is one of the most common ways new players stall, because rent is a permanent cost and the move itself costs about three weeks of rent.

Ikoyi and Banana Island homes come unfurnished, so budget for furniture too. Read the needs and power guide before buying appliances.
